Flashmob is a group of people, in a public place, which participants perform an unusual action in a very short period of time, then the group disperses. This concept appeared in the literature in the XX century but has been put into practice until 2003 in New York. The first action of this kind took place in a carpet shop where about 200 people wanted to buy “love rug”. The idea has enjoyed a major success and in the following other Flashmobs were organized in America and Europe.
Currently, such actions have evolved massively, the most popular events are those organized by ImprovEverywhere group.Subsequently advertisers have seen a huge potential, because of viral characteristic … and look what came out (except for the first two).
