Designed by la SHED architecture, this residence in Montreal is built on the foundations of a typical 90s bungalow that previously occupied the vast wooded plot. Named ‘Maison Terrebonne’, the dwelling seeks to preserve one of the original structure’s principal characteristics – split levels. The overhaul was completed in order to meet the needs of a person living alone, with large open rooms offering an abundance of natural light.
