Hailing from Bucharest, Romania, freelance illustrator Matei Apostolescu aka Beaucoupzero creates incredible works of digital art. A 27-year-old graffiti artist turned illustrator, Matei uses a broad range of tools from rotring pencils, markers and spray paint to Wacom tablets, Illustrator and Photoshop. His worx are a fusion of different media: drawing, vector, photography, manipulation, even clay modeling, has been attracting constant attention and praise over the years, due largely to his ablity to turn what at first glance may appear to be pure randomness and chaos into a revealing and strangely soothing visual experience.
