Jean-Philippe Piter was born in Dakar, but at the age of 16 moved to France to study photography. After completing his studies served as a photo assistant. Worked for Vanity Fair, W, Numero, Vogue UK and others. Jean-Philippe is also the the founder, creative director and feature photographer of “Pure” which showcases his work every year and the magazines name sums up his personal attitude about his publication.
