ONEQ was born in Japan’s southeast island of Kyushu, her work as an illustrator includes a variety of genre such as magazine artwork, DVD cover art, apparel and clothing art, and manga illustrations. She mix Japanese and American art styles when dealing with manga designs.
My illustration might be defined as pop style with an underground flavor. I like to create simple images in my work. I start with a pencil and sketchbook and then use photoshop type programs to add color. I like orange and red tones the most. Recently, I have been focusing my work on old Japanese manga style illustration.
