Paris-based graffiti artist Pablo COTS recently put on a solo exhibition at MISSION PASTEUR in Rennes, France. Curated by Teenage Kicks Biennale, the “Dapper Cafe” is both a nod to Harlem’s Dapper Dan and an acronym for “Communication Access For Everyone,” showcased a series of bespoke apparel and throwback internet relics featuring quirky motifs that touch on themes of materialism, the Internet, and noteworthy individuals in pop culture. Some notable works include throwback computers, ’90s cellphones, 8-bit canvas works, and denim and coach jackets.
